Je vous fais parvenir l'information d'annulation de tous les championnats du monde de Sumo amateur 2009 à cause de la propagation du virus AH1N1.

Message received today from IFS below:
Based on news from World Health Organization regarding to world disaster virus - A(H1N1) infections has spread around the world. Up to date, 12,954 people were infected and unfortunately 92 people were passed away. The infections will be under control after June but after September 2009, the inflections may get worst.
A(H1N1) infection may happen during the mass transportation i.e. airplane, traine or bus. Especially, international trip (in airplane) or crowd people relating such as event that has international participants cause high risk for disease inflection. As well as you know that many international airport strictly check passenger who has high possibility of flue shall stay at the airport for certain period.
IFS executive board has considered deeply, to prevent any unexpected serious problem in the future, to decide to cancel ALL Sumo World Championships 2009.
